WCPF Members Print and Digitally Projected Image Exhibition 2012
The WCPF Members Exhibition continues to increase in popularity. To achieve an acceptance is a real measure of top quality photography, and should bring great satisfaction. The Exhibition Secretaries, Pam and Eddy Lane (Prints) and Pam Sherren (Projected Images) look forward to lots of entries again in 2012 and they have chosen an excellent panel of experienced selectors to assess your images. All entrants will receive a very comprehensive CD of both Exhibitions.
The Members Projected Image Exhibition was well received at its presentation at the Corn Exchange in Exeterlast year, and made a fine day out. The new “Creative” section proved very popular, and is continued this year. The 2012 Show of all submitted Projected Images will be held on Saturday the 21st April at the Corn Exchange, Exeter. We suggest that car-sharing among friends can help with the parking situation in Exeter.
The Members Print Exhibition will be held at Rook LaneGallery, Frome, every day from 13th to 26th May. A new section for Nature Prints has been introduced this year, and the maximum number of print entries is increased to twelve. It will be well worth a trip to see the accepted prints in their full glory in that superb exhibition space. We are actively seeking a venue in the Western end of the Federation as a change for next year, and suggestions of possible exhibition venues are welcome at any time. New arrangements for print handing-in worked well last year, and you will see from the Entry Form that there are additional people to whom you can give your prints, making this process more local to you. It would be very helpful if clubs can gather their members' prints together and submit them in bulk in one or two boxes.
We hope you will send in your best work, come and enjoy the Print and Projected Image Exhibitions, and support your WCPF again in 2012.
