Overall winner of the Exhibition is 'Death Valley Dunes' by Mike Challenger ARPS of Kingswood Photographic Society

Selectors Comments
We enjoyed selecting the exhibition immensely. The overall standard of work was very high; especially the digital Nature section and we had to be extra critical in order to narrow it down to the organisers required numbers. Apart from the award winners, the Open digital was perhaps the weakest section due to some images being poor technically which let themselves down.
The hospitality showed to us was second to none and our thanks must go to everyone on the WCPF team who were well organised and friendly. Things seemed to go smoothly but that too is down to the expertise of the individuals involved. We are confident that the exhibition as a whole will do the WCPF proud and our congratulations go to all the award winners and those who had work accepted. Hope everyone enjoys it as much as we enjoyed selecting it.

The judging of the exhibition was very enjoyable and the organisation was a credit to the WCPF region. The mono and colour print sections were very good and the selected pictures will make a good exhibition.
In the projected images sections the quality was very good, however, many of the rejected pictures were spoilt by lack of sharpness. Some of the pictures in the nature section had ‘cute’ titles. This issue did not always detract from the picture but in nature, a descriptive title of the subject is advisable.
