The 2014 Kingswood Salver Competition was held on November 15th with a packed audience taking up nearly every seat in the hall. It is thought that the number of tickets sold for this event may be a record with 73 tickets being sold.

Colin Harrison FRPS MFIAP EFIAP/p PPSA MPAGB FBPE FIPF, gave a  fast flowing, non-technical Talk, that covered his progression in digital imaging after the demise of colour slides.

The Winners

2nd place went to Dorchester CC with Exmouth PG coming in third.

Awarded Highly Commended were Bristol PS, Okehampton CC and Zen PG.

The Vivian Croucher Award for best individual print went to David Cantrille of Dorchester CC entitled "Snowey Egret Running on Water"
Mike Martin of Kingswood PS came second with his print "Bubbles"
Geoff Mallin of Hanham PS was third with his print "Wedding Breakfast"
Awarded Highly Commended was John Perriam of Exmouth PG with his print "Apparition"
Also Awarded Highly Commended was David Morton of TauntonCC with his print "Nanven"
Also Awarded Highly Commended was Pam Sherren of Zen PG with her print "Frozen Flowers"
