Entry Form 19th February The Mid Somerset Camera Club is delighted to welcome Steve Smith FRPS, MPAGB as their guest speaker on Tuesday, 19th February 2013 at the Tor Leisure Centre, Street Road, Glastonbury.
It will be a great opportunity to view an illustrated talk entitled `Street Witness’ by a highly acclaimed national and international photographer. His monochrome prints are renowned for their quality and his images have won many National and International awards. Steve enjoys taking many subjects, but it is people and their environment that appeal to him most. The saying that sums up his work is ‘A Moment in History’. In other words, he aims to capture everyday occurrences, events and people; that is his challenge and reward. Steve’s use of monochrome gives his photographs an earthy, naturalistic edge.
